Good morning,
How can I make the gnocchi easier to mash? My daughter had trouble kneading them between her gums because they were a bit too firm. Thanks in advance 🙂
Hello Marine, 😊
Gnocchi can sometimes become a little firmer depending on the cooking time or the amount of flour 🙂
For a more melt-in-your-mouth texture, you can:
Add a little less flour,
cook it a little longer
, or add a teaspoon of olive oil/sauce before serving 😊
💡 The type of sweet potato used also plays a big role: some are drier than others.
The goal is really to achieve a texture that easily crushes between the fingers 🤍
See you soon,
Lola
