A few months after your baby arrives in your loving home, you'll need to introduce solid foods. You'll then have a choice: traditional weaning or baby-led weaning (BLW). In both cases, it's important to know that solid foods won't replace the daily milk intake that covers 80% of your little one's energy needs. Decided on BLW ? We'll give you all the signs that will help you know when to start BLW with your baby by offering them raw foods and delicious BLW. Several signs should be observed in your baby before you can begin BLW. To begin, your little one must be at least 6 months old. They must also be able to sit upright in a highchair. Next, baby should be able to turn their head from side to side. And finally, baby should be able to hold and bring objects to their mouth. Remember, every baby is different and develops at their own pace. The ages given are often for informational purposes only. You might start BLW when your baby is 7 months old, and that's perfectly fine. You'll feel when it's the right time to begin this wonderful adventure with your baby.
