How to offer chicory to a baby in a BLW Baby-Led Weaning) diet?

Endive

Belgian endive, also known as chicory, is an often-overlooked vegetable, but it's an excellent source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals for babies! From 6 months old, you can introduce it as a purée or patties, perfect for little hands. Rich in fiber, endives promote good digestion and contribute to your baby's intestinal health. They are also low in calories and sugar, making them an ideal choice for a balanced diet. It's a mild vegetable with a slightly bitter taste, but once cooked, its tender texture is perfect for babies!
