Who are we ?

My name is Lola , and I'm the mother of Holly, a little girl born in 2020, and Lenny, born in 2023. I'm self-employed in the beauty industry and a full-time mom. In short, a hectic life full of ups and downs, but one I wouldn't trade for anything.

When Holly was born, I quickly became interested in baby-led weaning. This new, ultra-trendy method of introducing solid foods! At first, I thought it was just a fad. But after doing some more research, I quickly understood all the benefits this approach could have for my daughter and her development!

However, I very quickly encountered a major problem: the lack of information! Despite my research, I found very little, especially on a practical level. Whether from healthcare professionals for whom this dietary approach is still very new, on the internet, or in books, information is scarce! What I did find was very theoretical and often not very concrete.

I really wanted to give up. I felt like I'd never manage. As new mothers, we very often have these kinds of thoughts: feeling helpless and full of doubt! It's what we feel at each new stage with the baby: we're completely disoriented! We've only just found our routine and we have to start all over again and learn everything!

But I didn't give up! It wasn't always easy, especially with the comments from those around me: " In my day, we made them purees and that was perfectly fine," "Are you sure she's eating?", "I don't see what difference it makes between eating pieces or purees "... This new way of approaching children's nutrition often sparks heated discussions with older generations. Despite these doubts, the lack of information and support, I persevered and created my own method.

Seeing Holly genuinely enjoying every meal now makes me realize how right I was to persevere. She's been able to explore each food not only with her mouth, but also with her eyes, touch, and smell: an extraordinary awakening of the senses. Every family meal has become a moment of discovery and experimentation that is incredibly enriching for her. And it's even rekindled my love for cooking, something I hadn't done in years.

I've been sharing this experience since my early days on social media, and I was surprised by the enthusiasm surrounding BLW . That's why I created BLW Bébé, a platform to answer all your questions, so you can get started safely, with all the necessary information and a ton of delicious recipes to try.

BLW Bebe is the platform I wish I had to start baby-led weaning ( BLW ) smoothly, and I hope it can bring you as much happiness and fulfillment as it has in our little family!
