Who are we ?

My name is Lola and I am the mother of Holly, a little girl born in 2020 and of Lenny born in 2023. I am independent in the aesthetic sector, and a full -time mom. In short, a life at 100 at a rhythmic time of ups and downs, but that I would not exchange for anything in the world.

When Holly was born, I quickly became interested in the diversification led by baby. This new type of ultra trendy food diversification! At first, I thought it was just a fashion effect. But by inquiring a little more, I quickly understood all the advantages that this mode of food diversification could have on my daughter and its evolution!

However, I quickly encountered a major concern: lack of information! Despite my research, I found it very little, especially on the practical level. Whether with health professionals for whom this food approach is still brand new, on the Internet or in books, information is rare! The ones I found were very theoretical and often not very concrete.

I really wanted to give up. I had the feeling that I would never get there. As a young mother we very regularly have this kind of thought: feeling helpless and filled with doubts! This is what we feel about each new baby stage: we are completely confused! We have just found our routine that you have to start all over again and learn!

But I did not give up! It was not necessarily easy every day especially with the reflections of those around them: " In my time we made them puree and it was very good like that", "Are you sure she eats?" "," I do not see what it changes to eat songs or puree "... This new way of apprehending children's food is often a source of stormy discussions with the old generations. Despite these doubts, the lack of information and support, I did not let go and I built up my own user manual.

At the moment, when I see Holly take real pleasure with each meal, I tell myself that I did really well to persevere. She was able to discover each food with the mouth, but also with the eyes, the touch, the smell: an awakening of the extraordinary senses. Each family meal is transformed into a moment of discovery and experimentation at how enriching for it. And it even reconciled me with the kitchen that I had not been doing for years.

I have shared this experience since my beginnings on social networks and I was surprised by the craze that the BLW aroused. This is why I created BLW Bébé a platform to answer all the questions, to be able to get started in complete safety, having all the necessary information and a lot of delicious recipes to test.
