Introduce yourself baby and you in a few words:

My name is Amandine, I am 32 years old and I became a physiotherapist after putting my nurse's cap. I have been a mom for 15 months of a little Arthur who makes my greatest happiness! I am very lucky: to become a mom, I had always dreamed of it, but to live it is still a completely different dimension!

Why did you choose the BLW ?

When I got pregnant with Arthur; I was immediately dismissed from work. So I always had to document myself on lots of subjects compared to my new role as mom. The question of food diversification quickly arose: and I discovered the wonderful world of BLW !

Due to my training and studies, I was immediately convinced of the benefits that this new approach could have on the development of my baby. And the more I learned about the subject, the more I was looking forward to starting!

What scared you?

I didn't really be afraid. I knew which gesture to use in case of problem and I am a very basic zen person. I think it is very important to find out about the subject. The more knowledge we have on a subject, the more you feel comfortable with it!

I still, despite my knowledge, was quite surprised the first time that baby had a gag (nausea reflex) because it is quite impressive. But by remaining calm and letting it manage, we were able to pass this step together.

Has the BLW Bébé platform helped you, if so, in what?

Finding recipe ideas is not easy: we are not used to it, we are quickly lost and then we must admit, we would like to realize the best for our little pieces and we do not always know how to do. The platform allowed me to find a multitude of recipes and therefore make my life easier! In addition, I was able to leave my beaten track and offer things that I am not necessarily used to cooking!

When did Baby started to really eat more elaborate recipes?

Around 9-10 months he really started to eat more elaborate recipes.

Baby's favorite recipe?

Vegetable blinis! An ultra simple and easy recipe and yet I would never have thought of myself! And now, even sir is at home!

What does baby don't like?

Difficult to find something that Arthur does not like haha! I would say that it is less a fan of dry textures.

A advice for parents who wish to get started?

Learn as much as possible. And above all, search, read, use this platform as much as possible that is full of information and recipes!

A nice or less nice anecdote to tell?

Monsieur wanted to prepare the famous vegetable blinis. He was proud to have prepared everything, but at the time of cooking, a problem! He calls me, does not understand why it is not as well done as when it is I who realizes them. The blinis do not hold. After several investigations, we realized that Monsieur had forgotten the flour in his mixture!
