Introduce yourself and your baby in a few words.
Hello, I'm 30 years old and the happy mother of two boys: Arthur, 3 and a half, and Jules, 8 months. I started BLW at 6 months for both of them. They were, and still are, curious to try a little bit of everything.
Why did you choose BLW ?
I chose blw to allow them to be independent in their feeding. And above all, to safely try lots of different foods
What scared you?
Nothing special.
Did the BLW Baby platform help you? If so, how?
The blw platform is simply a goldmine of healthy and diverse recipes. I'm a huge fan.
When did the baby start eating more elaborate recipes?
Quite quickly, actually. I'm testing it out and seeing if they like it.
Baby's favorite recipe
Arthur loves banana bread (Spelling? Haha)
And Jules prefers whatever's cooked in a pan. I can't really say his favorite recipe yet. I don't make recipes every day because I don't have the time, unfortunately.
What doesn't the baby like?
Yesterday Jules tried the mushroom meatballs and he didn't really like them. Maybe it was the garlic?
Any advice for parents who want to get started?
Trust your child and let them go. There's just a little cleaning up afterwards, but the child's enjoyment is well worth a little mess
Do you have a nice or not-so-nice anecdote to share?
For Arthur: discovering broccoli was so much fun and it was everywhere
For Jules: the discovery of the zucchini—he had it all over his face, even in his nose, it was hilarious!
