Delicious zucchini pancakes to offer your baby on their own or with a smooth texture. BLW pancake recipes can also be used as carriers. A carrier is a food that serves as a base for textures that are more or less smooth, textures that babies have difficulty grasping with their fingers. You can spread compote, hummus, purée, pesto, spreads, etc., on the carriers. By using carriers, your little one can eat smooth textures independently! For the zucchini pancakes, it would be nice to pair them with a spread that complements the zucchini flavor or with cream cheese.

Of course, pancakes aren't the only good carriers; blinis, wraps, cooked vegetable sticks, crepes, and more are also perfect! This technique of presenting smooth textures on baby's plate can be used right from the start of baby-led weaning! Baby can then discover smooth textures independently from as early as 6 months.
