When introducing solid foods, some foods are not recommended for babies due to their composition, shape, or other safety reasons. Before introducing a new food to your baby, it's important to know if it poses a risk and to offer it in a safe format. Do you know which foods are risky for your little one? These are small, hard, round foods, such as cherry tomatoes, grapes, dried fruit, nuts, etc. These foods are risky because they can easily become lodged in the baby's trachea and get stuck, posing a choking hazard. To avoid endangering your baby, several alternatives are available for introducing them to these particular foods. The first tip is to cut the food into a safe size for your baby. For example, cherry tomatoes and grapes should be cut in half or quarters, and dried fruit or nuts can be pureed. These foods can also enhance delicious BLW !
