Just like adults, babies need all five food groups for a healthy and varied diet. Among these five groups are fats , which are essential for a baby's proper brain development. Do you know how to introduce fats into your baby's diet? From the start of weaning, you should introduce one to two teaspoons of fat per day. To introduce them correctly into your little one's diet, it's best not to cook them. Cooking fats causes them to lose some of their beneficial properties. Which fats should you choose for your baby? It's important to know that there are no inherently good or bad fats for babies. The key is to vary the types of fats, both plant-based and animal-based, in their diet as much as possible. However, it's important to prioritize organic, cold-pressed vegetable oils. You can choose rapeseed, olive, flaxseed, sunflower, coconut, walnut, and other oils. You can also offer butter and fresh cream sparingly in your baby's diet.
