Tomatoes are a delicious and refreshing vegetable, perfect for warm summer days! This red, green, yellow, or orange vegetable can be introduced to your baby right from the start of baby-led weaning. Do you know how to offer this vegetable to your baby ? Tomatoes come in various sizes, and depending on the size, they should be presented differently. Tomatoes should be presented as wedges without the skin so your baby can discover them safely. Later, they can be cut into small pieces on your baby's plate! Cherry tomatoes are a different story. They must be cut in half at the beginning of weaning and into quarters during the baby's developmental phase! This vegetable is, in fact, considered a high-risk food. By cutting the cherry tomato, your baby can safely enjoy this delicious vegetable, and everyone can rest easy! Once your little one has discovered the true flavor of tomatoes, they can find them again in delicious BLW ! Baby will be able to enjoy themselves while awakening their taste buds to new flavors!
