Turnips, with their melting texture and slightly sweet taste when cooked thoroughly, are an excellent vegetable for starting BLW Biologically Clean Baby) from 6 months. Steamed, they become tender and easy to handle, whether cut into sticks or small cubes depending on the baby's development.
