From 6 months: pear cut in half with a hole in the middle
1) Peel your pear.
2) Cut it in half and remove the core.
3) Using a sharp knife, make a hole in the center of the pear.
This shape will allow the baby to easily grasp the pear without it slipping from their hands. If it's not ripe enough, feel free to steam it for a few minutes to make it softer.
From 10 months: pieces of pear
1) Peel your pear.
2) Cut it in half and remove the core.
3) Cut one half of the pear into 4 or 8 pieces, depending on your baby's development in grasping.
This format allows baby to develop their motor skills while enjoying a delicious treat. If you see that baby is still having trouble grasping the pear pieces without them slipping from their hands, roll the pieces in coconut or almond powder (caution: allergen)!
