The fig

The fig is an ideal fruit to introduce to baby, right from the start of BLW .

  1. Rich in fiber : figs are excellent for digestion. They help prevent constipation, which is beneficial for developing stomachs.
  2. A natural source of vitamins and minerals : Figs contain vitamins such as vitamin B6 and vitamin K, as well as essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. These nutrients are crucial for bone growth, brain development, and strengthening your baby's immune system.
  3. Soft and easy to eat : the naturally tender texture of the fig makes it ideal for babies. Its softness is often appealing to toddlers, and it's easy for their little hands to handle.
  4. Rich in antioxidants : Figs are a good source of antioxidants, which help protect the body's cells from damage caused by free radicals.
  5. Energy-rich : with their natural sugar content, figs provide energy, perfect for babies discovering the world.
