Some vegetables, due to their color or texture, may not be appealing even before tasting them! However, vegetables are an important source of nutrients for the whole family. To encourage your baby to eat vegetables , here are a few ideas! The first idea is to involve your baby in the meal preparation process. This way, they can discover vegetables using their five senses while you're cooking! The five senses are important in discovering food, and sight plays a role in whether or not a meal is desired. Creating an attractive plate with interesting shapes or colors will entice your baby and make them want to eat what's on their plate, including the vegetables. It's also a good idea to vary the appearance of a vegetable from one meal to the next. Your little one might not like a raw vegetable, but will enjoy it cooked or in a soup. Finally, the last idea is to hide the vegetables from your little one's sight. By introducing vegetables into BLW , you can make carrot pancakes or spinach and ricotta bites that baby will eat without asking any questions!
