During baby-led weaning, your little one will also discover the delicious taste of milk and dairy products . Since birth, your baby has been fed breast milk and/or formula. Until they are one year old, these two foods will remain their main source of nutrition, providing all the nutrients their body needs. Baby-led weaning will be done in addition to their daily milk intake. Dairy products include all foods made from milk, such as cottage cheese, yogurt, and regular cheese. It is generally recommended to offer babies plain yogurt as well as pasteurized cheeses (mozzarella, ricotta) or hard cheeses (Comté, Emmental). Dairy products can, of course, be offered on their own in baby's meals, or your little one can rediscover their flavors in delicious homemade recipes. Certain combinations of vegetables with specific cheeses can create an explosion of flavors! The BLW for spinach and goat cheese muffins will allow baby to discover the strong flavor of this cheese with the sweet taste of this green vegetable.
