Do you know why it's important to offer your baby seasonal fruits and vegetables during baby-led weaning (BLW)? Fruits and vegetables, when grown in season, are picked when they're perfectly ripe. This ripeness allows the food to have more flavor and, above all, more nutrients for our bodies! During BLW BLW it's important to introduce your baby to the true flavor of different fruits and vegetables. A strawberry will taste completely different in spring than in summer. It would be a shame to introduce your baby to a tasteless strawberry. In addition to their flavor, fruits and vegetables, when eaten in season, provide your baby and the whole family with the nutrients their bodies need. For example, in winter, citrus fruits provide the various vitamins that are present in summer thanks to the sun. It's for these reasons that it's important to offer your baby seasonal meals throughout the year. The BLW for semolina, turnip and parmesan galette will be perfect for the first sunny days of spring!
