Generally, we begin baby-led weaning by offering our baby seasonal fruits and vegetables in their raw form. We select the fruits and vegetables we eat daily to introduce to our baby. However, did you know that you can awaken your baby's taste buds with exotic fruits? Right from the start of BLW , you can take your baby on a journey with the many unique flavors of these colorful fruits. How do you introduce exotic fruits to your baby? They should be introduced into your baby's diet in exactly the same way as more common fruits. That is, in a safe format and with a texture adapted to your baby's development. When fully ripe, exotic fruits melt in the mouth, so you won't need to steam them. Don't hesitate to peel these fruits, as the skin could stick to your baby's palate. Like with common fruits, it's important to introduce your baby to the true flavor of an exotic fruit by offering it in its raw form at first. Afterwards, you can prepare delicious BLW like pineapple cakes.
