Vanilla pear en papillote

A new way to introduce pears to your baby: vanilla pears baked in parchment paper. The pears will be tender and have a delicious vanilla flavor. A great recipe to share with your baby. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe pear
  • 1 cm of vanilla pod
  • 4 drops of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Use baking paper: fold it to make a papillote
  3. Peel and cut the pear
  4. Place it in the parchment paper
  5. Split and scrape the vanilla pod
  6. Mix with the lemon juice and put on the pear
  7. Secure the baking paper with string/cord
  8. Cook the papillote in the oven for about ten minutes
  9. Let it cool slightly and baby will eat with their fingers
