During traditional weaning, smooth textures can be offered to the baby in various positions: lying in a bouncer, sitting on someone's lap, etc. With baby-led weaning (BLW), the baby needs freedom of movement to explore foods independently. What's the best position to start BLW with your baby? At mealtimes, the baby will be seated in a high chair, allowing them to eat at the table with you. The ideal high chair for BLW consists of three elements: a 90-degree seat, a footrest, and a tray. The 90-degree seat ensures a safe position, reducing the risk of choking during meals. The footrest allows your little one to rest their feet and be comfortably positioned in the high chair. The tray serves as a plate at the beginning of weaning. Many BLW are available directly on the tray, allowing the baby to focus on the essentials during mealtimes.
