Your baby's palate develops gradually throughout the BLW Baby-Led Weaning) process. By offering a variety of foods in different shapes and textures, your little one can discover all sorts of flavors independently. Fruits are classified into six different categories: stone fruits, pome fruits, exotic fruits, nuts, berries, and citrus fruits. Within each category, fruits are easily replaced with others. For example, blueberries can replace blackcurrants in a recipe, or grapefruit can replace oranges. It's up to you to choose a fruit your baby prefers instead of one they don't like. In recipes, it's not uncommon for applesauce to replace mashed banana and vice versa. Remember to use seasonal fruit whenever possible.
