Kiwi is a rather bitter fruit for a baby's palate, and sometimes even for ours. That's why it's best to offer babies yellow kiwis, which are milder than green ones. When introducing solid foods, kiwi is often found in various BLW , but it's also important to let babies discover it on their own at first. How can you offer this fruit to your baby ? Kiwis are very watery and tend to be slippery when you pick them up without the skin. To ensure your little one can't discover this new fruit independently, there are formats adapted to babies' development! From 6 months, your little one can try a scored kiwi. After peeling the kiwi, cut it lengthwise into quarters and make a few small slits on the sides. These slits will help babies learn to grasp the kiwi easily. Around the age of 10 months, kiwi will be offered in pieces that the baby will eat first with their fingers and then with a fork.
