Animal proteins are a good source of iron, vitamin B12, and Omega-3 fatty acids. Protein should be introduced into your baby's diet right from the start of weaning. Initially, your baby will only eat 10 grams of protein per day to avoid putting strain on their kidneys. As your baby grows, the daily protein intake will increase, potentially reaching 30 grams by the time they are 3 years old. As with other food groups, it's advisable to vary the protein sources in your baby's diet. Fish meals should be included twice a week. On the other days, you can offer your baby meat, eggs, or legumes. Of course, it's also beneficial to play with textures, colors, and shapes using the many BLW .

Baby can enjoy fish in the form of balls, fish sticks, or even muffins. But that's not all; you can also make delicious spreads with sardines or tuna! Did you know that babies can eat flaked fish once they can use their thumb and forefinger to grasp it?
