From 6 months: cooked apple districts
1) Peel your apple and cut it into 4 pieces
2) Remove the core
3) Cut the apple into quarters
4) Cook the pieces with steam for 10 min (these must be melting, but baby must be able to catch them in hand)
Thanks to cooking, the apple will be melting and baby can easily crush it in its mouth thanks to its palate, tongue and gums.
From 6 months: thick compote
1) Peel your apple and cut it into 4 pieces
2) Remove the core
3) Cut the apple into quarters
4) Cook the pieces with steam for 15 min
5) with a fork, mash the apple to reduce it in compote
Present the compote in a pre-filled spoon . You can find different spoons specially created for BLW . These usually have both flat sides and there is therefore no good or bad direction. The hole in the center of these makes it possible to pre-fill in compote.
