Baby-led weaning (BLW) is a wonderful adventure to experience with your little one from around 6 months old. However, to successfully implement BLW with your baby, it's important to learn to let go. During meals, your little one is likely to make a mess, and they might even throw food on the floor . Take a deep breath; after a good cleanup, we won't mention it again. How can we explain this behavior during meals? It's important to know that this is perfectly normal and part of your baby's development. All your baby is trying to do is get your attention and tell you something. Before 12 months, babies begin to experiment daily and discover that objects make noise when they fall. This behavior can also indicate that your baby is no longer hungry. But that's not all; by throwing BLW on the floor, your baby may be expressing their desire for more independence at mealtimes. Cutlery will then make its appearance during meals.

Having started purees at 4 months and wanting to start BLW from 6 months is quite possible. Or you are wondering how breast / infantile milk and BLW combined.
