During baby-led weaning, introducing meat is an important step. Many questions arise for parents embarking on the BLW . Meat provides babies with protein and iron, essential nutrients for their development and well-being. Meat can be introduced into your baby's diet right from the start of weaning. Initially, offer lean white meats like chicken or turkey. Later, you can introduce red meats such as beef and ground meat. But how do you get your baby to eat meat ? Meat should always be thoroughly cooked to make it easier for your little one to digest. To introduce meat in a less raw form, you can offer your baby slices of meat with vegetables. After this initial introduction, your baby can rediscover meat in various BLW . For a melt-in-your-mouth texture, potato-based meatballs and croquettes are perfect. For a softer texture, you can add meat to muffin or cake recipes.
