At 6 months old, your little one will gradually transition from a purely milk-based diet to a more varied diet with purees and other foods. Did you know that this great cauliflower falafel recipe can be offered to babies as young as 6 months? It's possible with baby-led weaning (BLW)! But BLW exactly is BLW ? It's a very different approach to feeding. We're leaving behind homemade purees and compotes fed with a spoon to help babies discover food independently! Your little one will bring the food to their mouth themselves! With BLW , from 6 months onwards, your baby will explore flavors using finger foods. These will, of course, be suitable for babies and presented in a safe format to ensure everything goes smoothly at mealtimes. Baby's plate might include steamed carrot sticks, banana pancakes, or applesauce. Baby will be able to discover the true taste of food on their own through several BLW while continuing to drink the daily doses of milk.
