Beetroot is a superfood that, among other things, adds a beautiful pink color to dishes! With its sweet flavor, baby will be curious to discover it on their plate at mealtimes. Before you find it in BLW , do you know how to introduce this vegetable to your baby? At the beginning of baby-led weaning, beetroot can be offered as soft sticks that baby can eat with their fingers. It's also possible to make beetroot hummus to enjoy from a carrier or a pre-filled spoon. You fill the spoon and baby can bring it to their mouth! When baby's fine motor skills are a little more developed, they will be able to fill their spoon themselves without your help. Your little one will also be able to grasp food more easily with their fingers. Beetroot can then be cut into small pieces or even offered raw and grated to introduce baby to all the different textures of beetroot. The final step is discovering beetroot in BLW that the whole family will love. This special vegetable will undoubtedly awaken baby's taste buds!
