Contrary to what many parents believe, it's perfectly possible to introduce babies to different smooth textures, including compote and purées, during BLW ( BLW ). The only difference is how you present these smooth textures. For example, the compote can be spread on a carrier such as a blini, a pancake, or a crispbread. Baby can then grab the carrier to eat the compote. You can also offer the compote using pre-filled spoons. The BLW banana and kiwi compote recipe is super easy to prepare and, most importantly, naturally sweet thanks to the fruit used. Made a little too much compote? No need to throw it away! Store it in the refrigerator for a few days or use it to make delicious banana and kiwi cookies  ! Yes, this compote can be used as a base for making wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth cookies by simply adding flour and vegetable oil. In addition to being a perfect recipe to avoid wasting applesauce, these little biscuits are easily portable for family outings!
