How to get a baby to eat broccoli

Broccoli belongs to the Brassicaceae family (formerly Cruciferae). It's a vegetable with numerous health benefits, both for us and for babies! It's easy to cook and, what's more, it's available year-round! It's therefore one of the vegetables not to forget when your baby starts baby-led weaning.

Broccoli with firm stems and bright green flowers is the best! You can keep it for 4 to 5 days in your refrigerator.

You can pair it with salmon or fish in general. It is also often paired with carrots or potatoes.

Broccoli has an excellent reputation for its nutritional profile! Its richness in micronutrients is inversely proportional to its low energy value. In other words, it's as low in calories as it is rich in vitamins (C, K, B9, E, A), minerals (calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium), trace elements (zinc, manganese, copper, nickel, fluorine, cobalt, iodine, selenium), and antioxidants. For example, it provides twice as much vitamin C as an orange. In short, a true nutritional powerhouse!
