Baby food for 6-month-olds

Starting solids for a 6-month-old baby on BLW

At the beginning of weaning, milk still covers more than 80% of a baby's energy needs. It's important to understand that solid foods should be offered in addition to milk in a 6-month-old's diet . They don't yet replace daily milk intake. The first solid foods your baby will discover will be seasonal fruits and vegetables! They can enjoy bananas, pear pieces, zucchini sticks, and so on. Once your little one has already eaten some seasonal fruits and vegetables, you can then introduce some basic recipes made with the foods they've already tried.
