Start the BLW with foods in their raw form, such as carrots

At the beginning of baby-led weaning (BLW), you'll offer various foods in their natural form. This technique allows your baby to discover the true flavor of foods before encountering them in BLW . You can therefore start BLW with your baby by offering seasonal fruits and vegetables, proteins, dairy products, and starches. To ensure mealtimes go smoothly, you should offer foods that melt in the mouth and are in a safe format, such as sticks. Carrots are a perfect food to start BLW . From 6 months, you can offer steamed carrot sticks or mashed carrots to be explored with a pre-filled spoon.
