Legumes on the BLW menu with the cauliflower falafel recipe

There are two types of protein to introduce to your baby from the start of baby-led weaning: animal and plant-based proteins. In a BLW diet , plant-based proteins are provided by legumes, while animal proteins are represented by meat, fish, and eggs. Legumes are also excellent sources of fiber, which aids digestion. Varying the types of protein in BLW diet is a great way to ensure you meet your baby's daily protein requirements and stimulate their taste buds. Many BLW featuring legumes are perfect for introducing to your baby, such as cauliflower falafels.
