An unjustly widespread belief says that BLW is a method in which baby puree or compote cannot be given. The answer is false!
We can obviously give purees, compotes , as well as all the smooth textures desired to baby!
The diversification led by the child is a different approach to classic diversification: we come out (without excluding them!) Traditional purees and small pots given to the spoon, to allow baby to discover foods independently.
The BLW is therefore not just giving pieces to baby. ! It's much larger than that. BLW is a real food philosophy BLW Whether it is melting foods, pieces or spoons pre -filled with purees or compotes: it is a baby who carries each food alone to his mouth and who is an actor of his meal . Our role? Offer baby healthy foods suitable for its evolution.
How to offer mash and smooth textures?
Smooth textures such as puree, compote, tartinades, houmous, ... will be presented on carriers or in pre -filled spoons . Baby will be able to enjoy his smooth textures in the mouth by eating independently.

Fear of suffocation is the greatest reluctance among parents when talking about BLW . Just imagine our little end eating songs so that our heart gets carried away! Rest assured , you will always offer foods with textures and formats adapted to baby's capacities. Studies also show that there is no more risk of suffocation in classic diversification than in BLW .
Often we tend to confuse the impression of suffocation with the famous gag or nauseous reflex which can sometimes be quite impressive.
