Everyone knows that chocolate is far from a healthy food . greedy food , it is advisable to eat chocolate sparingly , whether it is a piece of a tablet or in homemade preparations.
Chocolate is made up of two nutrients to avoid in baby's diet :

  • sugar
  • nervous stimulants

The sugar added , present in the chocolate, is strongly not recommended in baby's diet up to 3 years . It has the same addictive potential as alcohol! And it can also cause cavities as well as develop a risk of overweight.

The two nervous stimulants of chocolate are caffeine and theobromine. These two stimulants act on baby in terms of sleep or its irritability. But that's not all, caffeine and sugar together can cause anxiety, sleep disorders or headache.

Chocolate is therefore not favorable for baby ! It is for this reason that it is advisable to wait before offering the chocolate at your little one.
