Is it possible to give dairy products during BLW diversification?

BLW BLW Baby-Led Weaning) is a feeding approach that is gaining popularity among parents. It involves allowing children to discover solid foods from the age of six months, giving them the freedom to pick them up and eat them at their own pace. A frequently asked question is whether dairy products should be included in this approach. Indeed, most of these products contain lactose, which can be difficult for young children to digest. However, it is important to note that dairy products are also an excellent source of protein and calcium. It is advisable to introduce dairy products such as cottage cheese, yogurt, and cheese from the beginning of BLW weaning .
