BLW diversification

What is BLW diversification?

Choosing the BLW -Led Weaning) means opting not to exclusively offer purees to your baby when they are ready to eat solids, but to start by introducing them to foods they can handle and eat independently. Around six months old, your baby will be able to feed themselves without needing to be spoon-fed. In reality, it's not so much a question of age to begin BLW weaning . This approach follows children's motor development. Therefore, babies can start BLW around six months, as this is when they are usually able to sit up and grasp objects, bringing them to their mouth to chew.
