Baby continues to drink milk during baby-led weaning

While exploring new tastes and textures is exciting, it's important not to forget the staple foods that provide essential nutrients. Milk, in particular, remains a cornerstone of a baby's diet until they are one year old, even during -led weaning . It's recommended to continue offering milk to babies until they are six months old, then gradually introduce solid foods while maintaining a significant role for milk. In fact, milk covers more than 80% of a baby's energy needs. It's recommended to offer babies daily amounts of milk ranging from 500 to 800 ml at the beginning of baby -led weaning
