Cucumber blw

The different safe formats of cucumber in BLW

The introduction of different foods during baby-led weaning (BLW) is always done safely, according to the baby's development. Foods are cut into pieces and offered in a specific texture to prevent any risk of choking. What are the different safe formats for cucumber in BLW ? If your baby is starting BLW , we recommend offering cucumber in the form of steamed sticks. You can also introduce the soft, melting center of the cucumber in stick form, as well as cooked cucumber rings. The soft texture of cucumber in BLW allows your baby to easily mash it with their palate, tongue, and gums. If your baby is 10 months old, they can try grated cucumber on a crispbread, for example.
